USU and UNUD Collaboration in University's Financial Management
Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU) received a visit from Universitas Udayana (UNUD) to conduct benchmarking activities on financial management of state universities with legal status (PTNBH). Held in the Video Conference Room of the USU Central Bureau of Administration Building, this activity is a form of cooperation between the USU Bureau of Finance and the Vice Dean II for Finance and Human Resources of UNUD.
In his remarks, Vice Rector II of USU, Muhammad Arifin Nasution S.Sos., M.SP., said that USU has adopted a digitization system in financial management since 2021 as part of efforts towards World Class University status.
Emerson Pascawira Sinulingga, ST, M.Sc., Ph.D., as the resource person in this activity, explained that this visit aims to learn and share ideas in developing and accelerating the process of managing PTNBH policies at UNUD. In his explanation, he outlined three main aspects: financial management, governance, and management of UKT and SPI, which are based on best practices that have been implemented by USU and become the learning objectives for UNUD.
