Four USU Faculty of Engineering Lecturers Participate in Erasmus+ Activities and ICoBTA-IR4.0 2023 Conference
Four lecturers from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU): Dr. Emerson P. Sinulingga, Mr. Tigor H. Nasution, Dr. Suherman, and Dr. Ali Hanafiah, have taken part in an Erasmus+ activity funded by the European Union in Kuching-Sarawak, Malaysia, on 3-6 October 2023. This activity involved partners from various countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, Greece, Italy, and Germany. In addition, they also participated in the ICoBTA-IR4.0 2023 Conference, an important platform to discuss the latest trends and challenges in the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
The participation of the four USU lecturers serves as evidence of their commitment to develop science and technology at the global level. Through this activity, they have the opportunity to share their knowledge, experiences, and latest research results with experts and practitioners from various countries, as well as establish potential collaborations for future research projects.
Aside from being a representative of the USU Faculty of Engineering's dedication to advancing science and technology, the lecturers' participation also provides added value to the curriculum development and research at the USU Department of Electrical Engineering. By bringing home new knowledge and experiences from the event, they are expected to make a meaningful contribution in enhancing the quality of education and research at the local level and strengthening the excellent reputation of the USU Faculty of Engineering.
